Management - Level 3

Our Management programme recognises skills and abilities of direct line management in the workplace.

Available at NVQ Level 3 and Advanced Apprenticeship, our Management programme is aimed at people in management roles across all occupations and sectors of employment.

Advanced Apprenticeship
The Advanced Apprenticeship qualification consists of the following elements:

  • Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT at Level 2
  • Technical Certificate in Management Level 3
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities
  • NVQ Level 3 – (see below)

Train to Gain
The Train to Gain programme consists of the following elements:

  • NVQ Level 3 – (see below)

NVQ Level 3 Certificate
At level 3 NVQ the learner will contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of Management and Leadership. It is designed for those who are entering a management role or who wish to gain a qualification that formally recognises their skills, those who manage a team and are responsible for its performance and middle managers who have a wider managerial role, which could include recruitment and budgetary responsibilities.

25 credits are required to achieve the full certificate, 14 credits are taken from mandatory units with the remaining credits selected from 36 optional units.

Funding is available in most cases.
